FAQs
What is mobile acupuncture?
1
Mobile acupuncture brings treatment directly to you ā whether at home, at your workplace or another agreed upon location. I provide all necessary equipment including a treatment table, linens and supplies so you can receive care in a comfortable and familiar environment.
Who is mobile acupuncture a good fit for?
2
Mobile acupuncture is ideal for postpartum parents, individuals recovering from illness or injury, those with limited mobility, busy professionals and anyone who prefers the convenience of receiving treatment without traveling to a clinic.
Can I receive treatment while my baby is home?
3
Absolutely. Mobile acupuncture is especially helpful for postpartum families because it allows you to receive care without packing up and traveling. Feeding, diaper changes and the realities of life with a baby are always welcome :)
What conditions do you commonly treat?
4
Acupuncture may support a wide range of concerns including:
Pain and musculoskeletal conditions
Stress and anxiety
Headaches and migraines
Sleep concerns
Digestive issues
Reproductive and hormonal health
Fertility support
Pregnancy and postpartum support
General wellness and preventive care
How often should I receive acupuncture?
5
Treatment frequency varies depending on your goals and condition. During your first visit, we'll discuss a personalized treatment plan and recommended schedule.
What should I wear?
6
Come dressed in whatever feels comfortable and allows you to relax. Loose-fitting clothing such as a T-shirt, soft pants, or relaxed layers work best and make it easy to access to the arms, legs and abdomen for treatment.
Does acupuncture hurt?
7
Acupuncture needles are extremely thin ā much finer than a typical injection or blood draw needle. Most people feel little to no discomfort during treatment. You may notice a brief sensation when a needle is placed, such as a tiny pinch, warmth, tingling,or a gentle ache.
I practice gentle needling techniques with your comfort as the priority. Any sensation is typically mild and short-lived and many clients find acupuncture to be a deeply relaxing experience.
What areas do you serve?
8
Roslindale, Jamaica Plain, Brookline, West Roxbury, Dedham & Milton. Travel costs are included within my service area. Additional fees may apply for locations outside of my standard travel radius.
Do you accept insurance?
9
Iām happy to provide a superbill for potential reimbursement if your insurance plan covers acupuncture.
Do I need to provide anything?
10
Just a quiet space large enough to accommodate a treatment table and room to move around it. I bring everything needed for your session.
